The Ship Inn, Canary Wharf, London
Traditional Ales
About Us and the Area around us
The Ship Inn was “built” in 1835 it is thought by two houses sandwiched together and made into a pub, it has been a pub all its history surviving until present day. The Great Eastern steam ship was built and launched by Isambard Kingdom Brunel next door at Burrells Wharf in 1858 and the man himself may have frequented The Ship during this time for a cold refreshing beer after a hard day’s work!
Back to the present day we are a local, independently run business serving a wide selection of ice-cold beers, interesting ales and seasonal cocktails and every day (except Mondays) we serve delicious homemade sourdough pizzas using the best ingredients we can source and seasonally changing the menu.
We show all major sports over 3 large screen televisions, have a large selection of board games, hold a pub quiz every Sunday from 8pm and a poker night every Monday.
